A Level 400 student of the Gambaga College of Education in the North East Region has been tragically killed by unidentified gunmen.
Following the incident, classes at the college have been suspended for the day, March 13.
The college authorities have confirmed the incident, revealing that the victim was discovered outside the school’s campus fence with suspected gunshot wounds.
While the motive behind the killing remains unclear, authorities suspect it may be connected to the ongoing violence in Bawku.
The police have been notified, and the Gambaga Chief Palace has summoned the school’s Principal for further discussions.
An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
