Livestream: Metro TV’s Economic Dialogue Series

In the wake of the current economic hardships, Metro TV is organising an economic dialogue series on the state of the economy.

The Economic Dialogue Series will seek to diagnose the root causes of Ghana’s chronic economic challenges and discuss political and regulatory perspectives in managing Ghana’s economy.

The series would also recommend tough decisions that government and citizens must take and implement in the short and long term to spur Ghana’s economic transformation.

The event is in two folds. The first take off at 10 am and the second at 11:40 am.

The round table discussion is ongoing at the El Eden Studio in the Metro TV building.

The event is on the theme “Fixing the Ghana Cedi: Key to sustainable growth”.

Panelists include; Chief Alhassan Andani (Founder and Executive Chairman – LVSafrica), Dr. Sam Ankrah (Senior Research Fellow, Institute of Chartered Economist, President – Africa Investment Group International), Joe Jackson (Director of Business Operations – Dallex Finance), Dr. Hazel Berrard Amuah (CEO Prudential Life Insurance Ghana), and Edward Kareweh (General Secretary, General Agricultural Workers Union (GAWU)),

Also, on the panel; Senior Lecturer (Economics) at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) Dr. Agyapomaa Gyeke-Dako, Dr. Joseph Obeng, Dr. Patrick O. Asuming, Dr. Adu Owusu Sarkodie (Economics Lecturer, University of Ghana)
