The President of the Republic of Ghana and Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF), His Excellency (HE) John Dramani Mahama has donated assorted medical and sanitation supplies to the 37 Military Hospital in support of healthcare delivery and the welfare of patients at the facility.
The donation was made on Friday July 10 2026, during a brief ceremony held at the forecourt of the Trauma Surgical and Emergency Unit (TSEU) of the Hospital.
The items presented included boxes of Kleesoft washing powder, gallons of liquid soap, packs of Softcare baby diapers, gallons of Parazone disinfectant, boxes of bar soap and gallons of antiseptics. The supplies are expected to enhance sanitation and strengthen patient care at one of the country’s foremost referral and military healthcare institutions.
Receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, the Deputy Chief of Staff Medical, Major General Evelyn Vivian Abraham-Kwabiah, expressed profound appreciation to HE Mahama for the thoughtful gesture. She noted that the donation would go a long way in supporting the Hospital’s commitment to providing quality healthcare services to military personnel, their families and the general public.
She reaffirmed the Hospital’s commitment to ensuring that the items are put to good use to improve patient care and maintain high standards of hygiene within the facility.
The presentation was attended by the Service Chiefs and other senior officers of the Ghana Armed Forces, who joined the President in reaffirming the importance of supporting institutions that play a vital role in safeguarding the health and well-being of Ghanaians.
