Newly-elected National Youth Organiser of the National Democratic Congress, George Opare Addo has rejected claims that former President John Mahama has preferred candidates in the 10th National Delegates Election.
George Opare Addo stated emphatically that the 2020 NDC flagbearer has stated severally that he will rally behind any candidate who wins the election for a victory in the next general elections.
He described the rumours which have gained grounds in the media as lacking positive accuracy and completely false
“Let me deal with the perceptions which are very important; HE President (sic) John Dramani Mahama has said time without number that he has no favourites in this election. He is a father,” Opare Addo stated.
“His children are going into battle he supports anyone of them that is going. President Mahama has no favourites in this election,” he reiterated
The NDC Youth Organiser urged the general public that “Let no one put out there that President Mahama has favourites in this election.”
