President-elect John Mahama has ushered in the new year with a message of hope and promise, outlining his vision for Ghana’s future.
In his New Year’s message, Mahama expressed his commitment to economic transformation, governance reforms, and addressing the concerns of Ghanaians.
Mahama emphasized his focus on creating an efficient and transparent government, stating, “My vision for our great nation includes a lean, efficient government responsive to your aspirations as a proud Ghanaian”.
He also highlighted his plans to reset the economy by introducing initiatives that promote job creation and economic growth.
The President-elect also introduced his 24-hour economy policy aimed at boosting Ghana’s export potential and creating more opportunities for citizens.
“Together, we’ll create an environment that fosters entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainable development, ensuring that our youth can achieve their dreams right here at home,” he said.
Mahama called on the youth to believe in themselves and actively contribute to shaping the nation’s future.
“Your energy, creativity, and passion are vital to our future success,” he emphasized.
He also assured business owners and entrepreneurs that his administration would support their efforts to create jobs and wealth.
In closing, Mahama expressed hope for a united nation working towards a common goal.
“Let us stand united in the belief that we can reset our economy, restore dignity and integrity, and renew our collective commitment to building the Ghana we want,” he urged.
