The Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC), Dr. Sofo Tanko Rashid, has reaffirmed the commitment of President John Dramani Mahama’s administration to creating sustainable jobs for Ghanaians, particularly the youth.
Speaking during an interview on Good Afternoon Ghana with Kwasi Afriyie on Metro TV, Dr. Rashid emphasized that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is determined to fulfill its promise to improve the livelihoods of citizens through meaningful employment opportunities.
“The leadership of President Mahama is committed to creating jobs for the Ghanaian people,” Dr. Rashid said. “There are several initiatives currently in motion aimed at tackling youth unemployment and empowering the next generation.”
He added that various sectors, especially in digital infrastructure and communication, have been identified as key drivers for job creation under the government’s strategic development plans.
Dr. Rashid’s comments come at a time when employment remains a top concern for many young Ghanaians, and he assured the public that the Mahama-led administration is focused on delivering results.
