Malta Guinness launches Women Premier League

Victor Kwawu, Accra – Ahead of match day two kick-offs in various women’s premier league centres across the country, official headline sponsor Malta Guinness in collaboration with the Ghana Football Association will launch the 2022/23 season at the LA Palm Royal Beach hotel today 12th October 12, 2022 at exactly 6 p.m. to usher in the new football season which is already living up to the billing.

The event was scheduled for last Sunday at the Madina Astro Turf but was rained off.

Many dignitaries from the corporate world will be in attendance, the Executive Council Members of the GFA including president Kurt Edwin Simeone-Okraku, football administrators and other invited guests including members of the media.

In August 2022, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced Malta Guinness as the new headline sponsor for the 2022/23 Women’s Premier League.

The brand was officially confirmed as the new sponsor at a ceremony that took place at the GFA Secretariat in Accra.

The three years deal will see the beverage company sponsor the league with three million Ghana cedis for the next three seasons.
