The KGL Millennium Marathon 2025 takes over Accra on Saturday, September 6, with Chief of Staff Julius Debrah joining thousands of runners at Independence Square for Ghana’s biggest fitness event.
This year’s KGL Millennium Marathon promises an electrifying atmosphere as professional athletes, amateur runners, and fitness enthusiasts converge in the heart of Accra.
The race, which kicks off at 6:00 am from Independence Square, carries the theme “Run the Future – Unleash the Power Within”.
Chief of Staff Hon. Julius Debrah will participate as a special guest runner, reinforcing the event’s growing reputation as more than just a race—it is a celebration of health, unity, and community spirit.
Since its inception, the KGL Millennium Marathon has grown into one of Africa’s most respected long-distance road races, boosting sports tourism in Ghana while inspiring a culture of wellness.
