Missing Circle phone dealer Nana Yaw Kyere, popularly known as Terry Dinero, has reportedly been found dead in Teshie, days after he went missing while on a business trip to the area.
Kyere’s body was reportedly discovered in Teshie on Thursday, September 24, 2026, with a relative confirming the development.
According to the relative, there were indications that an attempt had been made to burn the body, although the effort reportedly failed.
The body has since been deposited at the morgue as the police continue investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death.
Kyere, a popular phone dealer at Kwame Nkrumah Circle, reportedly travelled to Teshie in his Honda Civic to meet a friend and complete a phone business transaction but never returned.
His disappearance had triggered concern among his family, friends and fellow traders, particularly after a series of unusual WhatsApp messages were sent from his phone around midnight on Sunday.
According to an associate, one of the messages claimed that Terry had been “set up” by a girl in a room at Teshie. The message was accompanied by a photograph of the room and Terry’s live location.
The associate, however, became suspicious because the language and style of the messages appeared inconsistent with Terry’s usual manner of communicating.
At about 3:00 a.m., another message was reportedly sent from Terry’s phone claiming that he had been released.
The mystery deepened when the associate later discovered that both the photograph of the room and the live location shared during the midnight exchange had been deleted from the WhatsApp conversation.
Terry’s family subsequently confirmed that he had not returned home after travelling to Teshie, while attempts to reach him by phone proved unsuccessful.
Three suspects have reportedly been arrested in connection with his disappearance, as investigators work to establish what happened between the time Terry travelled to Teshie and the discovery of his body.
His death has left relatives, friends and fellow phone dealers at the Circle demanding answers, with the circumstances surrounding his disappearance and the reported attempt to burn his body now forming part of the ongoing investigation.
