Member of Parliament for Akropong, Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei, has announced the unfortunate demise of her mother.
The announcement was made on the Facebook page of the Member of Parliament who doubles as the Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry.
Describing her late mother as her best friend she wished her soul a perfect rest.
“My mother and best friend has answered the Heavenly call. May her gentle soul Rest in perfect peace,” she wrote.
Many Ghanaians and well-wishers have extended their sympathies to the politician.
