The Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) has arrested four people, including an alleged drug kingpin known as “Whiteman”, during an operation in Kasoa.
The suspects were arrested after security personnel carried out coordinated searches that led to the discovery of quantities of suspected cocaine and other narcotic substances.
The alleged kingpin, identified as Dauda Iddriss, was arrested alongside his wife and two other individuals believed to be linked to an organised drug network operating in the area.
Authorities say the operation forms part of ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and related criminal activities.
The suspects are expected to be processed in accordance with the law while investigations continue into the case and the activities of the suspected network.
NACOC has not yet released further details on the quantity of drugs seized or the identities of the other suspects.
