Nana Agradaa has been granted a GH¢50,000 bail with three sureties by an Accra Circut Court.
The founder of Heaven Way Champion International Ministry will however remain in custody.
This is because, she is facing charges at a different Circuit Court on one count of charlatanic advertisement and five counts of defrauding by false pretence and has been remanded to reappear on October 26, 2022.
The development follows an oral bail application by her lawyers in court Monday morning, October 17, 2022.
Nana Agradaa pleaded not guilty to one count of charlatanic advertisement and six counts of defrauding by false pretence at the Court presided over by Samuel Bright Acquah.
Nana Agradaa has been arrested on October 9, 2022, over allegations of money-doubling scams reported by some church members.
According to the Police, “Anyone who is a victim of the alleged money doubling scam should report to the Accra Regional Police Command for further action to assist the investigation.
She has been accused of scamming members of her church when she told them on a television broadcast during an All-Night Service dated October 7, 2022, that she would give them GHS. 300,000.00, if they doubled the money they were bringing to the service.
