Nana Agradaa secures GH¢150,000 bail in second case

Metro News on October 17 reported that Nana Agradaa was granted GH¢50,000  bail with three sureties by an Accra Circut Court over allegations of money-doubling scams reported by some members of her Church.

She was accused of scamming members of her church when she told them on a television broadcast during an All-Night Service dated October 7, 2022, that she would give them GHS. 300,000.00, if they doubled the money they were bringing to the service.

Metro News also reported that the founder of Heaven Way Champion International Ministry remained in custody despite meeting the bail conditions because she was facing charges at a different Circuit Court on one count of charlatanic advertisement and five counts of defrauding by false pretense.

Metro News now reports that Nana Agradaa has been granted bail in the sum of GH¢ 150,000 with three sureties by an Accra Circuit Court.

She is expected to be released on bail after meeting the conditions set by the court presided over by Evelyn Asamoah.

Agradaa has pleaded not guilty to one count of charlatanic advertisement and five counts of defrauding by false pretence.

As part of the bail conditions, the accused is to provide three sureties out of whom one must be justified with a title deed.

She is also to deposit her passport at the court registry.
