Nana Kwame Dankwa Disappointed by Low Fan Turnout at Kotoko’s 4-3 Win

Asante Kotoko’s former NCC Vice Chairman, Nana Kwame Dankwa, has voiced his disappointment over the lack of fan support during the team’s hard-fought 4-3 victory in their game against Kwara United.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Justice Collee on Original TV, Nana Kwame expressed concern about the low turnout at the game, despite the club’s rich history of passionate supporters.

“While we are grateful to those who came out to support the team, the turnout was far below expectations. Without the unwavering support of our fans, Kotoko wouldn’t be the giant it is today. We need them to come out in full force and show their commitment,” Nana Kwame said.

The 4-3 victory, which saw Kotoko narrowly edge their opponents, left both fans and players with mixed emotions. Though the result was positive, the performance on the pitch raised questions about the team’s preparedness for future challenges. Nana Kwame emphasized that while the win was important, the journey is far from over.

“We cannot afford to relax or be complacent after this result. We have a return leg coming up, and it’s crucial that we stay focused and continue to work hard,” he added.
