Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, widely known as NAPO and the 2024 running mate to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has issued a powerful reflection on the future of leadership in Ghana — a message that’s resonating across political circles following the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) defeat in the 2024 general elections.
In a recent Facebook post, NAPO emphasized the importance of continuous learning, humility, and reconnection with the Ghanaian people — themes many see as directly linked to the party’s recent electoral loss.
“Public service is a lifelong course, one that no one ever truly completes. To serve well, we must keep learning, growing, and renewing our understanding of the people and institutions we serve,” he wrote.
