NAPO Shakes Kumasi with ‘Nyame ay3 Awie’ Walk

The Manhyia South Constituency came to a complete stop as Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the vice presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and other prominent members of the party started a health walk.

Thousands of fervent supporters turned out for the ceremony, walking alongside the party leaders.

Kumasi’s streets were decorated in NPP colors as party members marched through the city sporting party attire.

Among the prominent NPP figures there were General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, Parliamentary Candidate for Subin, MP for Tafo Vincent Asafua, MP for Bantama Francis Asenso Boakye, and PC for Asawase Constituency Manaf Ibrahim.

Activities in the constituency were suspended due to the health walk, during which party members clapped and chanted slogans.

The event unmistakably showed the NPP’s resolve to hold onto power and its stronghold in the area.

“With the health walk, the NPP has once again shown its commitment to engaging with the people and promoting a healthy lifestyle,” a member said.
