The Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) Disciplinary Committee (DC) has slapped Nations FC with a one-match home ban and a GHC 6,000 fine.
This punishment comes after the club’s misconduct during their Premier League match against Bibiani GoldStars at the Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
The committee ruled that the club failed to ensure the safety of match officials, allowing supporters to assault them during the game.
As a result, Nations FC will now host Nsoatreman at a neutral venue this weekend. The club has also been warned that any further incidents will result in stricter penalties.
Nations FC currently sit in second on the league table with 16 points, 3 points behind leaders Nsoatreman.
