The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has touted its achievements in football as unparalleled, surpassing those of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to Dr. Fred Awaah, spokesperson on sports for the NDC manifesto, the party’s commitment to sports development is unwavering.
“Our achievements in football surpass those of the NPP. Sports is very dear to our flagbearer, John Mahama, and this should assure Ghanaians that we will deliver on our promises,” Dr. Awaah emphasized in an interview with Gattuso on Original FM’s Super Sports Show.
The NDC presidential candidate John Mahama has pledged to construct international-standard stadia in all regions if elected.
This promise was made during the NDC’s manifesto launch in Winneba over the weekend.
Dr. Awaah appealed to Ghanaians to vote for the NDC to propel the country’s development and match the standards of developed nations.
