NDC condemns remand of three members over removal of Eugene Arhin’s posters

The Central Regional branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has condemned the remanding of three members to police custody over their alleged involvement in the removal of Eugene Arhin’s posters from the District Road Improvement Project (DRIP) machines.

Cassius Otoo Larbie, who is the Awutu Senya West Constituency Communications Officer of the party, and two others were handed a five-day remand sentence by the Awutu Breku District Court, presided over by Her Ladyship Naomi Konto, on Thursday morning.

However, the NDC Central Regional Communications Officer, Gabriela Tetteh, has described the judge’s decision as “unfair”, while questioning the whole trial.

Madam Gizella Tetteh, the Member of Parliament for the area, has also registered her dissatisfaction, describing the trial as “pure intimidation”, because her posters were equally removed from the DRIP equipment by NPP faithful.
