Deputy Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Malik Basintale, made history on Saturday, August 17, engaging with a staggering 1.3 million youth during a TikTok live session.

The session, held from 6-8 pm, focused on “NDC Policies for Gen-Zs,” with Malik Basintale delving into the party’s plans to support startups, invest in tech and Fintech, and address youth unemployment.

He explained the NDC’s commitment to ensuring favorable tax regimes, job creation, and skill development through decentralizing the Accra digital center and security agency recruitment.

Malik Basintale also highlighted support for young entrepreneurs and the establishment of a Women’s Development Bank for gender equality.

This interaction follows the launch of the NDC’s youth manifesto on August 12, outlining the party’s dedication to empowering young Ghanaians.
