NDC rejects scanned pink sheets, demand re-run of elections in Ablekuma North Constituency

The Electoral Commission has resumed the re-collation of results for the Ablekuma North Constituency, with seven polling station results still outstanding.

However, the process has hit a snag as agents of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) are resisting the use of scanned pink sheets for the collation.

According to the NDC agents, they will not accept the scanned pink sheets, instead advocating for a re-run of the elections.

They have vowed to prevent the Commission from declaring the results, citing concerns over the legitimacy of the process.

The Ablekuma North is the only constituency whose results are yet to be declared by the Electoral Commission after the December 7 parliamentary election.
