NDC stands a chance of winning 2024 elections with unknown candidate – Ken Agyapong

Member of Parliament for Assin Central Constituency, Kennedy Agyapong says the probability of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) unseating the NPP in the 2024 presidential election is higher if it presents a new face.

Mr. Agyapong said the NDC seeking a return to the Jubilee House with Mr. Mahama as the flagbeaership will be an exercise in futility.

He disclosed on Good Evening Ghana on Metro TV on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, when Paul Adom Otchere mentioned names of possible NDC flagbearer hopefuls and chances of winning the December 7, 2024, general elections.

“They stand a better chance than Mahama,” the Assin Central MP said.

Away from that, Kennedy Agyapong said Ghanaians reelecting former President John Dramani Mahama into office will be a nightmare.

Kennedy Agyapong believes Mr. Mahama is a bad leader hence he should be rejected in his rerun bid.

The Assin Central MP went on to state that he is the best person to rescue Ghana from the economic woes worsening the plight of the ordinary Ghanaian.

“From his track record, he needs just one term (four years) even when he knew that if he manages the economy well he will have another term opportunity but he could not even do it. Now that he has just term time God knows what this man is coming to do,” the outspoken legislator noted
