NDC suspends Amenfi Central leaders over anti-party activities

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has suspended four key leaders from the Amenfi Central Constituency for allegedly working against the party’s interests. The decision was made at a meeting on June 5, 2024.

The suspended leaders include:

  1. Raphael Andoh Kwaw, Constituency Chairman
  2. Richmond Aleke, Constituency Organizer
  3. Grace Kwaw, Women’s Organizer
  4. Janet Fynn, Deputy Women’s Organizer

Their suspension, effective immediately, will last for six months, pending further investigations by the NDC’s National Disciplinary Committee.

The party’s General Secretary, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, stated that the Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Peter Yaw Kwakye Ackah, has been summoned to appear before the party’s Political Committee for questioning.

To ensure a smooth campaign in the area, a Presidential Campaign Task Force, led by Joann Gyan, has been established to handle campaign efforts in Amenfi Central.

The NDC has reaffirmed its commitment to upholding its values and maintaining discipline within the party.
