Senior Campaign Aide to the NPP running mate, Dr. Henry Kwabena Kokofu, maintains that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) lacks the resources necessary to effectively oversee the education sector.
He bemoaned the fact that the NDC’s eight-year rule did not bring about the necessary changes to the educational system.
According to Dr. Henry Kwabena Kokofu, the NDC surprisingly only delivered 28 of the 200 E-Blocks they had pledged to help improve education.
He claims that previous statements made by the former president to examine and repeal the policy demonstrate his intentions for the initiative.
“Deception and opportunism are the driving forces behind President Mahama’s seeming endorsement. In the extremely improbable event that former President Mahama is granted another chance to govern this country, he will end free SHS,”Dr. Henry Kwabena Kokofu Kumasi-based Hello FM.
According to Dr. Henry Kwabena Kokofu, the NDC lacks the credibility to proceed with the Free SHS program given their previous strong opposition to it because they do not even comprehend the idea.
“The NDC’s integrity and honesty with free SHS cannot be relied upon. They didn’t initially believe in it, but we’ve effectively put it into practice. They continue to present several iterations of their desired actions.”
