The National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) has participated in the British Council’s Going Global 2025 Conference held in London, reaffirming Ghana’s commitment to strengthening international partnerships in entrepreneurship, innovation, and education.

Leading the Ghanaian delegation, NEIP Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Eric Adjei, described the event as an invaluable opportunity to connect, collaborate, and explore innovative pathways for advancing Ghana’s startup ecosystem.
“It was an incredibly valuable experience connecting and building new networks on the sidelines of the British Council’s Going Global 2025 conference in London. These relationships will be pivotal in our mission to significantly boost Ghana’s entrepreneurship and startup ecosystem,” Mr. Adjei said.
The NEIP team, under the direction and leadership of the Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon. George Opare Addo, Esq, held a series of strategic meetings with delegates from Georgia, Mauritius, and Egypt. These engagements focused on knowledge sharing, policy collaboration, and exploring potential partnerships to accelerate youth-led innovation and small business growth in Ghana.
According to Mr. Adjei, these countries have demonstrated remarkable progress in entrepreneurship development, offering valuable insights that Ghana can learn from as it seeks to build a more sustainable and globally competitive innovation landscape.
The Going Global 2025 Conference, organized annually by the British Council, serves as a global platform for policymakers, education leaders, and innovation stakeholders to discuss strategies for transforming education and entrepreneurship ecosystems around the world.
NEIP’s participation in this year’s event highlights the Government of Ghana’s continuous efforts to foster international collaboration and position Ghana as a hub for innovation, youth empowerment, and digital entrepreneurship in Africa.
