The Nkoranza Traditional Council has dismissed reports that it has expressed outrage and invoked curses against the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.
In a statement signed by the Registrar, Cosmos Awuku Fofie, the Council described the reports as “false” and “misleading”.
“We categorically deny these claims, as they do not reflect our values or practices,” the statement said.
The Council emphasized its commitment to fostering dialogue and collaboration with all political entities for the betterment of the community.
“We urge the public to disregard these misleading statements and to responsible reporting to uphold the integrity of our Traditional leadership,” the statement added.
The Council’s denial comes after reports emerged that it had invoked curses on the NDC and Mahama over an alleged missed meeting. However, the Council has clarified that these reports are baseless and do not reflect its stance.
