NPP’s educational background obsession making party look incompetent – OB Amponsah

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian comedian OB Amponsah has lashed out at the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) for its recent focus on the educational background of political figures, especially those affiliated with the NDC.

The outspoken personality noted that this obsession seems to be the party’s next agenda in opposition.

OB Amponsah launched a scathing attack on the NPP, questioning their claim to intellectual superiority. He pointedly noted that despite boasting of competent individuals, the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration failed to deliver, leaving much to be desired.

“You had the MEN, Hawa Koomson, Abronye and 110 others. Yet, Akuffo Addo fumbled 8 solid years of power,” he noted in a Facebook post.

The celebrated comedian believes that the party’s actions are a form of witch-hunt, which will only lead to negative results.

OB Amponsah cited the example of NPP activist Sandra Ewool who falsely claimed Youth Employment Agency CEO Malik Basintale had no university degree, suggesting that the party’s tactics are backfiring.

“Enjoy the Sansa Daly victory. But making it a witch-hunt of a sort will only yield such results as Sandra Ewool is reaping,” he said.

According to him, these actions make the party and its leadership look incompetent, even in opposition.

“These knee-jerk antics only make the party and leadership look incompetent even in opposition,” he added.
