The people of Aburi have installed Nana Kwabena Ansah as the new chief of Nsawam, marking the end of a 27-year vacancy on the stool.
In a colorful ceremony held in Aburi, traditional leaders, dignitaries, and community members gathered to witness the historic installation.
The event featured traditional drumming, dancing, and war songs, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the region.
Nana Kwabena Ansah’s installation is expected to bring renewed focus on traditional and cultural development, unity, and progress in Nsawam.
The newly installed chief pledged to work tirelessly for his people’s welfare and uphold generations-old traditions and values.
He swore allegiance to Nana Otobuor Gyan Kwasi II, Aburihene, Adontenheene of Akuapem Traditional Area, and Acting President of Akuapem Traditional Council.
This significant event marks a new beginning for Nsawam, filling a long-standing vacancy and reinforcing the importance of preserving cultural heritage.
