The Agricultural Development Bank PLC (ADB PLC) has celebrated a major milestone with the launch of a new corporate cloth, highlighting its rich legacy, shared values, and renewed commitment to excellence as it accelerates its transformation journey.
The unveiling coincided with the Bank’s annual thanksgiving ceremony, marking over 60 years of service to Ghana’s financial sector.
Designed to reflect the Bank’s identity, colours, and heritage, the cloth embodies unity, pride, and a shared purpose among staff, customers, and stakeholders.
In brief remarks at the event, Managing Director Edward Ato Sarpong stated that the new corporate cloth represents both a duty and a responsibility to perform excellently, ensuring ADB PLC secures its rightful place as a sector leader.
“ADB has all the necessary elements and conditions to dominate the sector and be an industry leader, and we are determined to realise this vision in the shortest possible time,” the MD said.
Deputy Managing Director for Operations, Mrs. Sylvia Naa Kwakai Nyante, emphasized that the corporate cloth is more than just aesthetics; it is a visual expression of the Bank’s culture and strategic vision.
“This cloth tells our story—where we have come from, what we stand for, and where we are headed. It reflects our commitment to service, integrity, and our promise of going Beyond Banking,” she said.
Anchored on the theme “Flourish & Solid Like a Diamond”, the cloth combines growth and resilience. The flower-like patterns, inspired by the Bank’s wave accent, represent progress and continuous growth, while embedded diamond shapes signify solidity, endurance, and stability—core values of ADB PLC.
Mrs. Nyante highlighted that the new cloth strengthens staff cohesion while reinforcing a strong, recognisable brand identity. The design was created internally by Ms. Abigail Amo-Tweneboah, Unit Head of Creatives in the Marketing and Communications Department.
“It reflects not only creativity but also the depth of talent we continue to nurture within the Bank,” she stated.
Similarly, Ag. Head of Human Resources, Mrs. Abena Abrefi Antwi, described the cloth as a symbol of shared identity, reinforcing the Bank’s commitment to employees—the driving force behind its success.
“This corporate cloth represents more than a design; it reflects our collective values, our resilience as a workforce, and the culture we continue to build together. After over five years without a corporate cloth, its introduction is a meaningful moment for us,” she added.
The new corporate cloth also aligns with ADB PLC’s “Beyond Banking” philosophy, serving as a visual reminder of the Bank’s ongoing transformation and dedication to supporting individuals, businesses, and communities across Ghana.
“It stands as a testament to preserving institutional heritage while leveraging innovation for sustainable growth,” Mrs. Nyante concluded.
With this initiative, ADB PLC not only celebrates its rich history but also positions itself as a dynamic, forward-thinking institution, ready to lead the banking sector with renewed energy and a united workforce.
