Police have arrested five young men accused of luring, robbing and raping young women, including students, in a series of attacks along the Morso Road.

The suspects, identified as David Adusah, also known as Viber, aged 19, Samuel Amantor, also known as Road, aged 21, Andrew Odei, also known as Salinco, aged 21, Sharif Mohammed, also known as Isco, aged 18, and Joseph Addo Ofori, also known as Moves, are alleged to have targeted young females moving alone.

According to police sources, the group operated by offering lifts to unsuspecting victims in a private vehicle. Once the victims got into the car, the suspects allegedly drove them to secluded hideouts along the Morso Road.

Investigations indicate that the victims were robbed of their belongings and sexually assaulted. After the attacks, the suspects allegedly pushed the victims out of the vehicle or abandoned them in nearby bushes before speeding away.
