Ghana Police have arrested a man in connection with the fatal shooting of a soldier at Millennium City in Kasoa, Central Region.
According to a police statement, Benlord Ababio allegedly shot the soldier on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at approximately 4:20 p.m.
The victim was rushed to Mother and Child Hospital in Kasoa but was later pronounced dead.
Ababio is currently in custody and assisting with the police investigation.
The police leadership is working closely with the Ghana Armed Forces as the investigation continues.
