A driver and two others have been arrested in Tema after a police K9 Special Operations vehicle was allegedly damaged during an incident near the Lakeside stretch at Community 5.
Police say the driver of a Honda Civic scratched the police vehicle after a minor collision.
According to reports circulating on social media, the driver allegedly refused to cooperate with officers at the scene and drove away.
Eyewitnesses said some bystanders later tried to prevent officers from arresting the suspect by blocking them during the operation.
The officers called for reinforcement and the suspect was eventually arrested along with two others linked to the obstruction.
Police say investigations into the incident are ongoing.
