Eight alleged armed robbers are being sought by Somanya police after they attacked the SP Gas Filling station in Trom in the Yilo Krobo Municipality.
During the attack on Wednesday, October 11, at about 7:30 pm the armed men assaulted the pump attendants at the station severely to get them to disclose where they keep their daily sales.
Before they left, the CCTV camera installed at the station was destroyed after the operation, which lasted ten minutes. and the robbers had left.
Although the police were contacted, unfortunately, the local police patrol unit reported late to the scene
The Police have invited the owner of the gas filling station to assist in investigations.
The police have also pleaded with the public to come forward with information that will aid the investigations.
