Police place ₵1 million bounty on suspected Binduri serial killer Mark Agingre

Police in Ghana’s Upper East Region have announced a ₵1,000,000 (One Million Ghana Cedis) reward for credible information leading to the arrest of Mark Agingre, a native of Binduri, wanted in connection with a string of gruesome murders in the Binduri District and nearby communities.

According to police reports, Agingre is the prime suspect in the murder of a man, his wife, and three children on 7 November 2025, an attack that also left another child in critical condition at the Bolgatanga Government Hospital.

He is also being sought over the killing of an elderly man and his two children on 27 October 2025 in Binduri. Investigators believe he may be responsible for several other targeted killings across the region.

Police are urging anyone with credible information about Agingre’s whereabouts to contact the nearest police station or call 191 or 18555 immediately.

Authorities say a full-scale operation is underway to locate and arrest the suspect, assuring the public that every effort is being made to bring him to justice.
