President Mahama promises opportunities for youth in Western Region

During his Thank You Tour in the Western Region, President John Dramani Mahama took the opportunity to reaffirm his commitment to creating opportunities for the youth.

Addressing a group of young people from across the region, Mahama expressed his dedication to job creation, education, and skills development as key components of his government’s agenda.

“The youth are the future of our country. If we do not invest in them now, we risk stifling the potential of an entire generation,” Mahama emphasized.

The President outlined several key initiatives aimed at providing long-term opportunities, including the establishment of the Blue Economy Commission and a revamped small-scale mining cooperative.

These initiatives are designed to not only create jobs but to ensure that young people have access to sustainable and rewarding careers.

“We want to ensure that young people in the Western Region and across Ghana have access to the skills and opportunities that will allow them to build their futures,” Mahama promised, signaling his commitment to youth empowerment and sustainable growth.
