The Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, Dr. Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, is set to brief Ghanaians today on key legal developments, including the ongoing Ofori-Atta case and recent cybercrime recovery efforts.
The update will be delivered as part of the Government Accountability Series, an initiative by the Presidency Communications to keep the public informed on critical governance and justice matters.
According to official communication, the briefing is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 18, 2025, and will provide clarity on the status of investigations and prosecutions linked to the former Finance Minister, as well as assets and funds recovered through state-led cybercrime interventions.
The cybercrime segment is expected to highlight progress made by law enforcement agencies in tracking, freezing, and retrieving funds lost to online fraud and related digital offences—an area of growing public concern.
The session will be broadcast across official government platforms, including @GhanaPresidency and @ISDghana, allowing citizens nationwide to follow proceedings live.
The Government Accountability Series forms part of broader efforts to promote transparency, public trust, and citizen engagement in governance and the justice system.
