The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Pusiga has expressed outrage over the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) continuous use of indecent language against Member of Parliament, Hajia Lardi Ayamba.
At a press conference in Mandago, NDC Constituency Communication Officer, Alale Baba Atimbila, condemned the NPP’s attempts to tarnish Hajia Ayamba’s reputation and claim her achievements as their own.
He cited the Pusiga-Widana road project, which Hajia Ayamba initiated and lobbied for, but the NPP claims as their parliamentary candidate’s achievement.
Hajia Ayamba urged her constituents to promote respectful communication and acknowledge genuine achievements.
Hajia Lardi Ayamba faces challenger Alhaji Hanan Aduliba of the NPP in her reelection bid.
The Pusiga Constituency, a competitive seat in the Upper East Region, has traditionally voted NDC since its creation in 2004.
