Qatar 2022: Black Stars beat South Korea with 3-2 win

The Black Stars have once again proven their skills and worth in their outstanding game with South Korea today, November 28, 2022.

The match which started at exactly 13:00 GMT at the Education City Stadium in Qatar had fans from both sides supporting their country with their cheers and songs.

The game started strong with the Koreans who kept on pinning to make sure the ball entered the net whilst the Black stars were having trouble controlling the ball.

Despite their effort in fishing a goal, Black Star’s Mohammed Salisu, and the ‘Golden Boy,’ Mohammed Kudus set the pace for the match with two goals in the 24th and 34th minutes of the match.

The two goals became depressing for the Taegeuk Warriors and their fans as they were seen with concern in their eyes. Their confidence after the third goal from Mohammed Kudus drastically dropped leaving the Black Stars in a comfortable lead.

The Taegeuk Warriors were however able to attain two goals amid the tension and continued to fish for an equalizer but despite the 10-minute addition, the Taegeuk Warriors failed to achieve the draw.

South Korea’s coach, Paul Bento after the final whistle from the referee, Anthony Taylor looked agitated. He later bickered with the referee, Anthony Taylor for not allowing his team to finish the corner kick amid the extra time in the game. He was later administered a red card by Anthony Taylor.

However, elated fans of the Black Stars trooped onto the field to jubilate with the team since Ghana secured a 3-point in Group H.

Ghana will be taking on Uruguay in their next game on December 2, 2022, at Al Janoub Stadium stadium in Al Wakrah city, Qatar.

Meanwhile, in the trends on Twitter, fans of the Black Stars have lauded the man of the match, Emmanuel Kudus, and the goalkeeper, Lawrence Ati Zigi, for his twenty-seven touches, four saves, and five recoveries in the game.

After his dramatic performance in the head clash against Portugal on Thursday, November 24, 2022, Ghanaians and fans of the Black Stars were upset about Jordan Ayew’s move in the previous game.

The Crystal Palace forward was slashed on social media for his poor performance but after his assist in today’s match for the second goal. He has been elevated as one of the best in the match.
