QNET appeals to media against associating company with scam activities

QNET, a global wellness and lifestyle company, has cautioned the Ghanaian media against using its name in scam activities.

Addressing a press conference in Accra on Monday, April 14, Regional General Manager for sub-Saharan Africa, Biram Fall, emphasized that QNET is not a Ponzi scheme or get-rich-quick scheme designed to defraud unsuspecting individuals.

Fall reiterated that QNET is a lifestyle and wellness company with over two decades of experience, operating in Ghana through its local partner Bosomtwe Industries Ghana at East Legon in Accra.

He clarified that QNET does not offer overseas travel or visa opportunities, contrary to claims by some scammers.

Fall distanced the company from the 44 Cameroonian nationals recently arrested for alleged internet fraud, stating that the company does not condone such activities.

Fall also mentioned that QNET launched an anti-scam campaign last year to curb fraudulent activities misusing its name and provides legal assistance to affected individuals.

Fall urged the media to halt dragging QNET’s name in the mud and to be cautious when reporting on the company.

QNET encourages the public to report suspicious activities involving its name to the authorities or reach out to the company via its WhatsApp hotline or email.
