A global direct selling company, QNET, has strongly denied allegations of fraud, job scams, and illegal migration leveled against it.
In a statement, Biram Fall, Regional General Manager for QNET, categorically stated that QNET is not affiliated with Q-NET, the company involved in the arrest of 26 foreign nationals by the Ghana Immigration Service in Yendi, Northern Region, for suspected fraudulent online networking activities.
Fall emphasized that QNET is a distinct and separate entity with no connection to the aforementioned company.
“We strongly refute the assertion that the individuals mentioned in the story committed the alleged offenses on behalf of the company. Some people are misusing QNET’s name to conduct illegal activities,” Mr. Fall said.
He emphasized that QNET had repeatedly warned the public about such illegal activities and was launching a “QNET Against Scam” campaign to educate people on how to avoid falling victim to scams.
“We take allegations of illegal or fraudulent activity very seriously and will take strong action against anyone misrepresenting QNET,” Mr. Fall warned.
The company has established a compliance hotline on WhatsApp (+233256630005) and email (network.integrity@qnet.net) for the public to report suspected fraudulent activities.
