Replay: Good Afternoon Ghana discusses rise in insecurity

There’s a wave of crime that is creating fear, alarm, and panic among the Ghanaian populace.

Some notorious armed men shot dead a police officer and a bystander, Afua Badu, during a robbery incident involving a bullion van at Adedenkpo, a suburb of James Town in Accra on Monday.

Also, that same day unidentified gunmen shot and killed a woman in a daylight attack in Kumasi, Ashanti Region’s capital.

Although the IGP, James Oppong-Boanuh, has assured the Ghana Police Service will ensure a peaceful atmosphere is restored, Ghanaians continue to live in fear.

Today on Good Afternoon Ghana, host of the show Francisca Kakra Forson sits down with some experts to discuss the state of the country’s security.
