The stage is set for an unforgettable celebration of theatre as Roverman Productions presents the Festival of Plays, a rich showcase of five powerful works by Ebo Whyte, running through Christmas into the New Year at the National Theatre, Accra.
This year’s festival brings together some of Ghana’s finest actors and storytellers, delivering drama that is bold, emotional, humorous, and deeply relatable. From love and marriage to family conflict, personal struggle, and self-discovery, each play mirrors real-life experiences that resonate with audiences of all ages.
The Christmas schedule opens with Terms of Divorce on December 24, followed by Dubai or No Sex on December 25, The Ex Factor on December 27, and Love on the Ropes on December 28. The excitement continues into the New Year, beginning with Voices in My Head on January 1, Order for Four on January 2, The Ex Factor on January 3, and ending with Love on the Ropes on January 4.
Each day features two shows at 4pm and 8pm, giving theatre lovers flexibility to plan the perfect outing with family, friends, or loved ones. With ticket prices starting at GH¢300 per show and a festival package of GH¢1200 for six tickets, the Festival of Plays offers exceptional value for premium live entertainment.
