The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Bole Municipality Abdullah Mahamud is currently receiving care after being involved in an accident near Sankpagla in the Central Gonja District of the Savannah Region.
The accident occurred on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, while he was traveling in a pickup truck.
Abdullah Mahamud was on his way to Tamale for official business when the incident occurred around Galinzegu on the Yapei-Tamale Highway.
The Savannah Regional minister Salisu Bia Wurbe, who confirmed the incident, disclosed that the MCE is in stable condition, and support is pouring in.
