A salesman has reportedly landed in trouble after allegedly selling nearly all the stock in his employer’s shop and handing the entire proceeds to his girlfriend.
The incident is said to have happened while the shop owner was away and had left the salesman in charge of the business.
According to reports, the matter came to light when the owner returned and found that almost all the items in the shop had been sold. The owner also discovered that there was no money available to account for the sales.
When questioned, the salesman reportedly admitted that he had given all the money from the sales to his girlfriend after she visited the shop.
