Ghanaian singer, Cina Soul has emphatically stated in an interview on Metro TV’s Entertainment Review show that she was not hurt by the comments by entertainment critic Sally Frimpong Mann that she was overrated.
She also disclosed that it is a mere coincidence that the release of her latest single ‘Plenty Evil’ was released at almost the same time the ‘overrated’ comment by Sally was made.
She said, “No, I was not hurt by her comments. The song was supposed to have been released on 21st September, my team had already planned my promo plan like about four months prior, so a snippet of the song was released before those negative comments about me”.
The ‘Ojorley’ hitmaker added she would only get hurt by comments of people she looks up to as mentors or idols and not any other person.
Sally Mann, an entertainment critic, lashed out on a contestant of Adom TV’s ‘The Darling Factor’ reality show where she is part of the judges saying, the contestant should have been herself and delivered with her natural voice.
She indicated that the original singer of the song Cina Soul was an overrated singer.
Cina Soul is on a media tour to promote her new single, Plenty Evil which was released a few weeks ago and is gaining huge traction on social media and online music platforms.
