Sam George qualifies as solicitor in England and Wales after completing law programme

Minister for Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, has successfully completed a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Professional Legal Practice, qualifying him as a solicitor in England and Wales.

The Ningo-Prampram MP shared the milestone on social media after participating in his graduation ceremony at the Barbican Centre.

According to him, the academic journey began in 2023 and was completed in 2025, despite a break during the 2024 election season.

“I enrolled for the program in 2023 and completed in 2025 after taking a hiatus in 2024 during the election campaigns,” he wrote, describing the experience as “a pretty challenging endeavour” as he balanced his studies with public service and political responsibilities.

Sam George noted that the qualification now admits him to practise as a solicitor under the jurisdiction of England and Wales.

“The Masters of Law in Professional Legal Practice qualifies me as a Solicitor of England and Wales,” he stated.

He expressed hope that his achievement would motivate others who may have delayed their ambitions.

“I hope this inspires someone out there to pursue any dream that they have deferred. You never know what you can achieve until you start,” he added.

He also acknowledged the support system that contributed to his success, thanking “the Lord Almighty, my wife, family and friends for all the support and prayers during this phase of my life.”

Describing himself as a lifelong learner, Sam George signalled his readiness to take on new challenges.

“The life of a lifelong learner! On to the next pursuit,” he noted.
