Former Black Stars defender and FIFA U-20 World Cup winner, Samuel Inkoom, will see his football academy celebrate a major milestone when Samuel Inkoom Football Club takes part in a coronation match following its successful Division Three League campaign.

The newly crowned champions will face Youthage Football Club in a special celebratory fixture on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the Tuba Astro Turf in the Central Region, with kick-off scheduled for 5:00 PM.

The event has been organized by the Awutu Senya East Municipal Football Association (ASEMFA) as part of activities marking the club’s impressive achievement in securing the Division Three title.

The celebration is expected to attract key football administrators, traditional leaders, community stakeholders, and international dignitaries.

Among the distinguished guests billed to address the gathering are Central Regional Football Association Chairman, Mr. Robert O. Duncan; the Mewerhene of Gomoa, Okfofo Nana Kwesi Amoani I; and the Swiss Ambassador to Ghana, Her Excellency Simone Giger.

The coronation match will serve not only as a celebration of the club’s success but also as a motivation ahead of an even bigger challenge. In just two weeks, Samuel Inkoom Football Club will compete in the Regional Middle League, where promotion to Division Two will be at stake.

Having dominated the Division Three campaign, the academy is now focused on taking the next step in its development by securing a place in Ghana’s Division Two League.

For Samuel Inkoom, who was part of Ghana’s historic FIFA U-20 World Cup-winning squad in 2009 and represented the Black Stars at the highest level, the achievement reflects his commitment to nurturing the next generation of football talent.

The coronation match is expected to provide fans and supporters with an opportunity to celebrate the team’s accomplishments while rallying behind the players ahead of their crucial promotion campaign.
