The Ministry of Roads and Highways through the Ghana Highway Authority has given notice to close sections of the N4 to undertake the strininng of transmission line conductors along the stretch of the highway.
“This is to enable GRIDco to undertake the stringing of transmission line conductors across the N4 (Tetteh Quarshie – Madina – Adentan Road)”, the statement signed by acting CEO A.B.K. Nuhu said on Wednesday, 5 May 2021.
As a result of the exercise, sections of N4 (Tetteh Quarshie – Koforidua) will experience a minimum to maximum disruptions to traffic flow, from Saturday May 8th, to Sunday, May 9, 2021, between 8 am and 12noon daily.
Motorists and commuters have been advised to follow the diversion signs to be placed at Okponglo, near McDan offices, La Bawaleshi and East Legon.
