Selina Boateng launches Alpha & Omega at Throne Room 2026

Gospel musician Selina Boateng brought together music, worship and Christian fellowship at the 2026 edition of Throne Room, held on Sunday, September 20, at The Church of Pentecost’s James McKeown Worship Centre near Inkoom Hospital on the Spintex Road.

The programme attracted a notable gathering of senior pastors, prophets and other prominent Christian leaders, with several of the religious leaders occupying the front section of the auditorium as the worship programme unfolded. A traditional king was also among the distinguished personalities present at the event.

The gathering featured performances from a number of gospel musicians, including young gospel artiste Emily Adade Boateng, Nana Yaw Asare, Deacon Sammy Baah, Mavis Asante, popularly known as Supreme Lady, Abena Serwaa Ophelia and Selina Boateng.

Emily Adade Boateng, who has previously collaborated with Selina Boateng on Ghana for Peace, was among the younger voices featured during the programme.

Nana Yaw Asare also entertained the audience with his music, including his popular Odomakoma hit, while the other performers contributed to the worship and musical atmosphere of the evening.

Abraham Opoku Davies, popularly known as Oboy Salinka, was also among the personalities present at the programme.

A major highlight of the gathering was the launch of Selina Boateng’s book, Alpha & Omega: A Journey of Faith, Worship, and Grace. The launch was conducted by the two masters of ceremonies during the programme.

Alpha & Omega: A Journey of Faith, Worship, and Grace chronicles Selina Boateng’s journey from a difficult childhood and seasons of hardship to her emergence as a gospel musician, minister and mentor.

The book explores experiences of poverty, rejection, waiting, sacrifice, relationships, motherhood, disappointment, mistakes and restoration, while tracing the role of faith throughout Selina Boateng’s journey.

Beyond Selina Boateng’s musical career, Alpha & Omega examines themes of purpose, surrender, mentorship and legacy. The book presents her story as a journey in which difficult seasons contributed to the development of her gift and her eventual commitment to inspiring and mentoring others.

The publication also reflects on the people who influenced Selina Boateng’s musical journey, the songs that became testimonies and the young people she now seeks to inspire and mentor.

Ultimately, Alpha & Omega presents Selina Boateng’s life as a testimony of faith, perseverance and purpose, highlighting the journey from an ordinary beginning to a life shaped by music, ministry and service.

The 2026 Throne Room gathering therefore combined a night of gospel music and worship with the unveiling of a personal account of the journey behind Selina Boateng’s music and ministry.

The event follows Selina Boateng’s earlier Throne Room Experience, which in 2025 was associated with her 22nd year in ministry and featured gospel ministers including Kofi Sarpong and Hannah Marfo.
