A 19-year-old senior high school graduate and two others have died in a suspected generator fume incident at Mahean-Ablekuma, a suburb of Accra.
The victims are believed to have inhaled fumes from a generator that had been placed in a locked corridor during a power outage while they were asleep.
The deceased included Florence Naa Kwarley, who recently completed senior high school.
According to information gathered, the tragedy occurred on the night of the outage after Mr Ofosu Yeboah allegedly placed the generator in the enclosed corridor before the victims went to bed.
The three were later found unconscious and were pronounced dead.
Authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
